Senator Larry Craig, Republican from Idaho, was featured here by yours truly, a conservative Republican business blogger, as a really bad salesman for trying to weasel out of his guilty plea that he gave for soliciting sex in a Minneapolis airport men's room.
Today, it goes from bad to worse.
Audio of Senator Craig's police confession has hit the Internet, and it supports what most of us have been thinking all along: He's guilty.
What makes it worse is that he continues to put forth his bad sales pitch to all of us in trying to convince us of his innocence. Not surprisingly, it's a pretty lame attempt.
Here is audio of the entire nine minute talk with the arresting officer, who gives Craig a chance to gracefully accept responsibility and go on his way. Instead, its a continuation of his bad sales job.
Learn from it, sales people around the nation! Be honest and open in your dealings within your company, as well as your customers.
