The Great One made a keen observation in his post from a day or two ago, which was in essence, "adults are the new kids" based on how they're acting and what they're buying.
Here's some things that came to mind as other examples of adults acting like kids based on what they are being sold, and what they are buying:
- GPS systems in their $65,000 cars.
- XM Satellite Radio in their $65,000 cars.
- Plasma TVs.
- Playstation 3 (Adults buying those for themselves? You bet!)
- Fantasy baseball camps.

- NFL, NBA and MLB season tickets.
- All-inclusive resorts.
- Harley Davidsons.
- Trips to Las Vegas.
- Speedboats.
- Classic cars (my dad has one, and loves it to pieces).
Adults love to act like kids, and they love the same kind of "stuff" that kids love. The great thing is that the adults have the money to spend. And, as sales guru Jeffrey Gitomer says quite accurately, "People (adults) hate to be sold, but they love to buy!"
