The "Shirt of the Month Club"....Cool!

A graphic artist and ad design goddess, Jennifer Sparks, e-mailed me the other day about a new campaign she's helping The Men's Wearhouse with.  They are one of her clients at Basement, Inc.

I think this is a cool idea, especially for guys like me who hate malls and can't pick out good dress shirt and tie combos if our life depended on it...

Hi Dan,

First, I want to say thank you for your sales and marketing blog/site.  I follow your postings as I have been in sales and marketing for the last 15 years.  I have found a lot of useful information that I have used personally and also share with my contacts.  I loved your posting on the DVD Rewinder.  Very funny!  I too have friends that would buy this.

On another note, I thought I’d pass along some information for your readers that might be of interest for salespeople.  One of my clients is Men’s Wearhouse (Yes…I Guarantee It) and they have just launched a “Dress Shirt of the Month Club.”  It’s called the Fresh Shirt Club, and is only available online.  Every month, you get one of Men’s Wearhouse best 100% cotton, non-iron dress shirts, delivered direct to your mailbox.  Or you can order a shirt and tie combo.

While there are wine, book, flower, chocolate, and even BBQ sauce of the month club’s, this is the first monthly club focused on dress clothing for businessmen.  For businessmen who are far more interested in looking good than in shopping, this is a convenient, time-saving way to keep their look fresh and seasonally updated, without having to step foot in a store. The shirts and ties are Men’s Wearhouse best quality, and selected by their business wardrobe style experts.  More info is located by clicking here.

Please feel free to share with your readers and contacts or enjoy yourself.  Looking forward to more great insight from Landingthedeal.  Thanks again.

Best regards,

Jennifer

Thanks for the great tip, Jennifer.  And congratulations on helping one of your clients gain some extra publicity...for free (you can bill them for it...we won't tell)
