A discussion about sales, sales tips and advice, and about those who land the deal

Steve Rubel posted a great piece about 25 things he learned from GoogleTrends.

So, I'll play along too with some trends I found focused on sales, marketing, and business:

• We'd rather open up our own business than just find another 9 to 5 job.
• Monster.com is way ahead of CareerBuilder.com when it comes to the best place to find a new gig.
• Surprisingly, it seems like we're more interested in a sales career than a career in the Major Leagues.
• Even in a slow market, looks like its better to be a realtor than it is to be a mortgage broker.
• We're searching for more infomation about cold calling, but business referrals are what's making news.
