Here's a quote to get you thinking:
"Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go."
That's from American poet T.S. Elliot.
Think about it. Sales is really one of the only careers where you decide how far you will take yourself, how much you will earn, how hard you will work and how successful you are. That's one of the things I've always loved in sales and business...we're the masters of our own destiny. We get to decide, more or less, what our paycheck is. That's incredible, really. What a great thing!
Now read that quote again:
-
Are you willing to take a risk?
-
Are you willing to go above and beyond (whatever that may entail for your particular profession?)
-
Can you honestly say that you've "gone too far" before in your professional life?
-
Do you feel like you've already gone as far as you can go?
It's important to always assess your sales career, and in what areas it might need some changes. That's important for your bank account, and vital for your motivation.
Just wanted to throw that out at you. I got that quote in my Inbox today from JustSell and wanted to share it with you and add my two cents.

Love the quote.
