
Ticket scalpers and major sporting events have gone hand-in-hand
since...well, forever. I still have memories of going to Los Angeles Dodger games as a kid and driving down Stadium Way passed a steady stream of guys standing on the side of the road offering tickets to the game.
Things are a little different now in 2006, and they're certainly different at the World Cup in Germany. Technology is playing a big part in making sure only legitimate ticket holders - and legitimate tickets - are given entry in the stadiums around Germany for the big event.
