
Fourth in a series:
OK, Jim has landed an interview with a big mailing systems company. His fake resume is ready to go, and he can almost taste the start of a new career in sales.
Now, comes the interview...and deciding what to wear. For Jim, it was an easy decision:
"For the interview, I wore a blue velvet suit. Looking back on it, I probably looked like f****** Liberace! But at the time, that's all I had. I had a blue velvet suit and a green velvet suit.
"Remember, I was in the rock-n-roll business for years and years. And that's what we wore. When you got off the plane, went to a party, went to a club...wherever...you wore something flashy. I was married to a former Playboy bunny, and we had gigs at the Playboy Mansion, and that's what we wore. So I thought I would knock 'em out with one of my best suits for the interview.
