
OK, first, here's how I wound-up at a laundromat this afternoon:
We're at the beach, our kids are at the stage where they like to wear four different ensembles per day, my wife is pregnant and running out of clothes that fit, and I volunteered to do a quick load to get us back to 100% of clean, fresh clothes. If you look closely at the picture, you can see my reflection in the window of "The Washing Well" laundromat in gorgeous Morro Bay, California. So there, now you know. And, yes, a wash is still $2.00 according to the sign in the window.
It's been about 15 years since I've been inside a laundromat. Not that they're bad places, I just have been blessed enough to a) have a wife who handles most of the laundry chores, and b) have a washer and dryer inside of our house.
But as I've learned in my travels for LandingTheDeal over the past several months, sales lessons are everywhere if you're a keen observer...and it didn't take long for me to find some...
