My 10-year old daughter surprised me today with the news that she entered me in our local newspaper's "Father of the Year" contest, but was disappointed when she told me that she found out today that I didn't win.
Here is the letter she submitted to the newspaper for the contest:
I nominate my Daddy, Daniel Tudor,as Father of the Year because he is strong, he can lift me on his shoulders. He coaches my Girls Softball team, he also teaches me how to play Basketball. He is fun, he tickles us. He kisses me and my sister goodnight every night. He cooks waffles for us every Sunday morning. He takes us to church every Sunday. Sometimes he lets us go to his office after school. He makes sandcastles with us when we go to the beach. He takes my cousins, and my sister and I to the movie theatre every once in a while. He supports what we want to do. He helps me with my homework and school projects. He takes my neighbor's kids and my sister and I to school every morning. In our opinion he is very handsome. We love him, he is the best Dad in the world. From:Cambria and Kaley Tudor

Well, you clearly have them SOLD! Just kidding.
What a great letter. It's also a great example of copywriting to sell. It certainly sells me on your benefits as a Daddy.
Keep up the great work, Dan! And Happy Father's Day.
