This past weekend, I ranted about bad restaurant service and how it can instantly taint a restaurant with otherwise wonderful food and atmosphere. Don't you just hate bad service at a restaurant?
The folks at WaiterBell.com don't. They wouldn't have a business without it. Take a look at their product (customers will like it, waiters will want to hunt down the inventor and give him a piece of their mind). They sent me their info after reading my post.
When I saw their idea, I thought about all of the other businesses that could use a "bell" of some sort to get them on the ball: Doctor's offices, the lines at Walmart, tire shops...the list goes on.
What if your customers had a WaiterBell for you? How often would it ring?
The bottom line for this concept is simple: It's another case of the customer taking charge, and being in control. If you aren't prepared to let your customers to take charge, they'll take charge on their own.
Think about it...
