Fifth in a series:
First, a quick reminder that we just completed a great one-on-one interview series with best selling sales author Jeffrey Gitomer. If you missed them, you can view the first interview post here.
OK, back to buzz marketing, and our friend Ron McDaniel from the standout Ohio-based buzz marketing firm, Buzzoodle. They do work all over the country, so if you own a business or need a little "buzz" for your next campaign, give Ron a call (tell him Dan at LandingTheDeal sent you!).
Our next interview topic with Ron: How are ad agencies embracing the concept of "buzz marketing"?
"Some feel threatened, Dan, but some have also been very excited about partnering with us on projects. We do not pretend to be experts in traditional forms of advertising and we can often work with an ad agency that combines their talents with our expertise to form a hybrid, results driven strategy that a business owner or company is comfortable with. Few businesses are ready to dump all traditional marketing."
As with most good sales strategies, buzz marketing is best employed when its a part of an overall marketing strategy. But in today's business climate, I think it's a must to have some "buzz" as a part of any campaign...large or small. Thanks for the insight, Ron!
