
Political ads. Yes, its that time of year...at least here in California.
We have a Governor's race going on. Two Democrats are vying for the chance to go up against Arnold in the November general election. Phil Angelides and Steve Westly.
Here's my question: Every politician wants to sell themselves to voters, yet every politician's ad looks, sounds and feels the same.
Why?
Is it because theres some magic political formula that necessitates political ads to be staged, cheesy and gooey-sweet? Am I just so naive that I don't recognize that all political ads have to be duplicates of ads I saw two or four or eight years ago?
Sorry...just had to get that out of my system.
