
Ask.com is one of about a zillion companies taking aim at Google and trying to chip away at some of their business.
I still use Google, but I was impressed with a TV sales commercial featuring a father and genius son who sang the praises of Ask.
The last line especially caught my attention:
"Just because Google is more popular doesn't mean its better."
Wow! Great line. Instead of trying to downplay Google's influence in the marketplace, embrace it - and then tell your prospect that you're even better.
Well done, Ask.com. Thanks for providing a valuable sales lession to every sale professional reading this who is up against someone who is bigger, more profitable, has a bigger customer base, or has been the market leader longer.
