Did you know that car dealerships used to sell cars door to door? There was an actual car salesman that would knock on your door, and try and sell you a car. True stuff. It really happened...50 years ago.
I was reminded of that fact recently when I saw a show on TV lampooning the practice. But honestly, think about it for a second: How amazingly original would it be if an enterprising car salesman actually did that today!
I wonder if his or her sales would outpace those of the car sales pros at the dealership that sit around and wait for someone to walk onto the lot?
If you know of any car sales professionals that do outside sales work, let me know...I think the idea is really good, and could generate a lot of buzz for the salesperson who tries it.

Yes, I just got a phone call from the local Ford dealer that wanted to buy my car if it was for sale. This is just another way for me to buy a new car from his dealership..
