
I've blogged for a few weeks now on a cool new sales technology that I'm using, and now helping to distribute.
Today, I got an e-mail from Russ Franklin in Florida, who wrote me that the video e-mail he put in place for his business just got him in to see a customer who wouldn't return calls or e-mails for the past seven months. Today, the guy called him, said that he was caught off-guard by the video e-mail and gave Russ ten minutes or so to explain his delivery system product. Afterwards, he nailed down a face-to-face meeting time with the prospect. Russ is excited! He shared the story with me today, and it made my day.
Seth Godin talked recently about superstitions...of which, there are hundreds in business. Traditional proposals. Traditional brochures. Traditional cold calling. Traditional e-mails. Just goes to show you that when you become remarkable, and approach someone in a way that's creative and fresh, good things happen.
