I shouldn't poke fun at the thought, I guess. Especially since I found them by clicking on a Google ad on the LandingTheDeal site! But, really...is this what it has come to?
Here are some alternative ideas for becoming a better sales pro:
- Read good selling skills books. I recommend Jeffrey Gitomer.
- Read good marketing books and blogs. I recommend Seth Godin (and this blog, of course).
- Practice your approach.
- Practice handling objections.
- Work harder.
- Work smarter.
- Invest in your career - attend seminars, listen to CDs (unless they have a picture of a magician on the front), subscribe to newsletters.
But that's just me...
