
Steve over at LoneWolfTracks has a great point to make when he talks about businesses who "hide" by not listing a phone number, mailing address, etc. It's worth the read.
The same holds true for sales. Some sales reps I deal with pick up the phone and answer when I call. Others make me weave through a series of "press the star key" hurdles before I can either talk to a live person (usually their assistant) or finally get to their voicemail, where they return my message within 36 hours.
