TechCrunch has a really interesting preview of some of the changes that are on tap for the popular sales support website, salesforce.com.
If you aren't technically savy, it will sound a little intimidating. But the thing I like about the salesforce.com application is that its actually easy to use, runs will, and can provide some great sales automation tools for savy sales professionals.
Great article...check it out, as well as the salesforce.com site.

Although Salesforce is the most visible CRM on demand solution, thre are many other visible players.
Salesboom.com uses AJAX and is much user friendly CRM application and costs less, a lot less.
Other players that I also like bus a bit more expensive is Netsuite.
