I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner.
I keep getting calls on one of my rollover office lines from a mortgage company. Usually, its a recorded message and I just hang up.
Today, it was a live person. She asked, "is Dan Tudor there?" I asked, "Did you know him?" She replied, "Uh...no..." To which I said, "He was killed today by a rhino at the zoo."
Silence on the other end. I was trying hard not to laugh.
I heard her take a breath, as if she was going to reply, but then she just hung up.
Why didn't I think of that sooner?
