
...you're wealthy, Republican, and you attend church.
We had an entry earlier this week about a survey that said money did not buy happiness.
Now a new Pew study finds that, overwhelmingly, individuals who 1) make over $150,000 a year, 2) are Republican, and 3) attend church are significantly happier than others.
What does it have to do with sales and selling?
It goes back to our original point in the earlier post, with regards to why people get into sales: To make good money. But there are other components to being happy.
Be connected spiritually. Being positive. Being successful.
Being Republican? Sure, they're in power. But they are also perceived as being more optimistic and positive than their opposition much of the time.
Church? Again, optimism and hope.
