This is the typical image that comes to mind when you think of a car salesman, isn't it? Sleazy...unprofessional...shady.
So, how do you react when you come across a really good car salesperson? You remember them. They make an impact. They stand out.
Several years ago, I bought a car from a dealership about an hour from home. It wasn't convenient. I didn't get a "great deal." But I kept going back to buy from the dealership, and one particular salesman (Jeff). In total, over the years, I bought three cars from him.
Why?
He followed-up with me. Constantly. He called, he wrote notes, he sent birthday cards. And when I went back to the dealership to look into another purchase, Jeff recognized me and remembered details about me and my family. I was always impressed (and I was loyal!...I actually think he had a lot of loyal customers).
You don't expect consistent professional follow-up from car salesmen. That's what made him stand out. Truthfully, the customers in your industry don't expect it from you or your fellow sales professionals. So, my question for you is, what are you doing right now to stand out?

What kind of a program do you use to keep track of you sales?? and leads??
