How do you succeed at selling?
It starts well before you sit down in front of a prospect or customer. One good way to acieve success is to set your goal. It could be for the week, month or the year. The important part is to set your goal.
But wait, there's more: You then have to write your goals down. You also need to carry that written goal (or goals) around with you. Sounds corny, but it works.
The final piece of the puzzle? Make decisions based on you having already achieved your goal that you've written down.
This process works, and works well. The first time I wrote my goals down and put them in my wallet, I achieved each of the three goals I had set and did it before a year was up.
This process should be a part of every salesperson's daily ritual. It works, and its one of the keys to sales success.
