
This isn't rocket science, but I was reminded of a simple but effective rule for success in sales this morning.
I scheduled several calls first thing in the morning. One right after another. Now I'm done. 
You know what? I feel great, I've got a lot done. I have some great momentum to carry me through for the rest of the day. And, new business to boot!
The lesson: Purposely schedule sales activity (not paperwork activity or something else that doesn't bring in $$$) first thing in the morning. Psychologically, it sets you up for a great day.
(That's not me in the picture, by the way. But I'll bet its a picture of a guy making things happen first thing in the morning. See how happy he is?)
