Hello, I'm Dan Tudor and I am the contributing author to Know More
Media's "Landing the Deal" blog. 100% sales and marketing information, tips and strategies...100% of the time.
I have a broad background in sales, marketing and communications. I love selling, love business, and love sharing my thoughts and recommendations for other entrepreneurs, sales professionals and business owners.
My background is fairly broad, beginning with a seven year career as a television sports broadcaster for an ABC station in California. Tired of working until midnight and thirsting for an opportunity to determine my own earnings based on hard work, I entered by career in sales and business. I spent six years with a Fortune 100 company, starting out in entry level sales and working my way up the corporate ladder to the rank of regional manager. I took an under-performing, small area office from mediocrity to tops in our Western Division.
The next year, I formed a small sports marketing company that promoted high school athletes to college coaches. I developed the company's sales and marketing plan, and soon my little company had grown into one of the top companies in our market. I sold my interest to an outside investment group in 2004.
Currently, I have business holdings in an outdoor advertising company, a home services company, and a sports marketing consulting company. I am also finding a market for my consulting services, and presently work with several clients on their individual projects related to business and sales development.
I'm married, father of two (soon to be three) beautiful daughters, coach our local varsity football team, and am active in our local church.
If you have questions, or would like to discuss project ideas or sales development needs that I may be able to assist you with, e-mail me at dan@landingthedeal.com. I would love to hear from you.

Welcome Dan. Nice to have you in the drivers seat! Hope our pit crew can keep you out there on the track. Look forward to learning from you.
